A small sculptural pair for everyday — worn with a shirt collar open, a knit, the kind of detail that reads as considered rather than dressed-up.
A leaf form in silver tone, veined and shaped so the metal reads as foliage caught mid-curl. The scale is restrained. The shaping gives it dimension — it sits away from the ear rather than flat against it. Each clip is signed Coro on the reverse.
Coro was one of the largest and most collected American costume jewellers of the twentieth century, founded in New York and known for finely worked, nature-derived designs. A signed Coro piece carries the mark of that workshop and its period.
