A small object, made beautiful.
This ribbed sterling silver metal lighter case is handmade in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy, for the Mini Bic. Fine parallel ridges are worked directly into the surface and catch the light at different angles, so it feels as good in the hand as it looks on the table. A small opening at the base lets the lighter slide in and out with ease. The Maxi format, a full size Bic lighter case, is offered while the last piece remains.
Made individually by a Lucca silversmith, without casting or moulding, each case is solid sterling silver 925, hallmarked accordingly and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Sterling silver is a precious metal: not chrome, stainless steel or silver plate. This ribbed silver lighter case, also called a fluted case, is a Bic cover made to last.
The candle lighter you reach for each evening deserves a place on the table. The ridges give a secure grip and wear handling well, so this Bic lighter cover stays beside the candles and only improves with use. Tuscan craftsmanship in a small object, and a considered gift for him or for her.
