A bowl that earns its place at the table without asking for attention — the Sanssouci Elfenbein in warm ivory porcelain, suited to everything from a quiet breakfast to a dinner laid with care.
Warm ivory-glazed porcelain with a raised Rococo scroll relief on the rim. The glaze is smooth and substantial in hand, the profile low and wide — right for soup, pasta, salad or fruit. At 13.5 cm across and 3.5 cm deep, the bowl is genuinely useful rather than decorative. Dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and food contact safe. A vintage porcelain bowl set from a pattern that has never left production.
A Rosenthal Sanssouci Elfenbein porcelain bowl, made in Germany in the 2000s. The Sanssouci pattern has been produced continuously since 1894, originally modelled on 1745 Prussian palace dinnerware — one of the longest unbroken runs in European tableware.
