A ribbed acrylic ice bucket that sits as easily on a drinks trolley as a kitchen counter — the one you reach for when guests arrive.
Cubic form in clear acrylic, with ribbed side panels on two faces that catch and break the light. A removable insert lifts out for ice, and a fitted lid keeps it covered. The chrome-plated handle arcs clean across the top, the single sculptural line against the geometry of the body. At 17 cm on every side, a true cube.
Ambrogio Pozzi designed the “Amanda” for Fratelli Guzzini in the 1970s, at the height of the house’s Space Age period. Guzzini, founded in Recanati in 1912 and still family-run, built its reputation on exactly this — turning acrylic and methacrylate into objects museums now collect. Pozzi, one of Italy’s defining industrial designers, gave the form its restraint.
