A Vev Vigano Koncord moka pot for a morning that takes the coffee seriously — and the object that makes it.
18/10 stainless steel, polished throughout. The Koncord form is tall and angular where a standard moka is squat and round — a deliberate departure, the kind of 1980s Italian design decision that aged well. 3–4 cups, 25.5 cm high, base Ø 7.8 cm, 630 g. The gasket has been replaced and the pot is fully functional. Minor surface marks consistent with age — the steel is well preserved throughout.
Vev Vigano was founded by Vittorio Viganò in Briosco, near Milan, and produced espresso makers from the 1920s until the company closed in 2004. For eight decades the house made stainless steel moka pots that supplied Italian households and became standard equipment in kitchens that knew what they were doing. The Koncord was from the final chapter — a range that pushed the form further than it needed to go and was better for it.
