A small glass that focuses the drink. Pour something good, something worth tasting slowly — grappa, a sherry, a well-aged amaro.
Liqueur glass from the Rosenthal Model 20/200 series, designed by Hans Theo Baumann in 1966. Blown glass with a compact, slightly flared form. The small scale is deliberate — it concentrates aroma and slows the pace of drinking. Sold as a set of 2.
Hans Theo Baumann (1924–2016) was a Swiss-born industrial designer whose work spanned ceramics, glass, and furniture across a forty-year career. His Model 20/200 series for Rosenthal entered the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York — one of the few mid-century German glass series to be acquired by MoMA. Rosenthal, founded in Bavaria in 1879, became one of Europe’s most significant design-led manufacturers through the postwar decades, commissioning designers including Tapio Wirkkala, Walter Gropius, and Baumann himself.
